Okemo Gears Up for President’s Vacation Week
LUDLOW, Vermont ??” With nearly 100% of Okemo??в„ўs vast trail network open and high-flying action in Okemo’s Parks and Pipes, February Vacation Week is sure to be special. Two Great Ways to Start The Day:
Skier and riders can start their day on the slopes at either the Okemo base or the new Jackson Gore base. Each ares fully loaded and staffed with all of the services and amenities needed for a great day on the slopes: A wide variety of Culinary services, ticket windows, Cutting Edge Learning Center Desk for lessons, Okemo Express Rental & Repair Shop, Okemo Snowsports Shop, Day Care, Children’s ski programs and more.
Multi-Day Lift Tickets & Specials:
Multi-day lift tickets are a great way to save versus buying lift tickets one day at a time. Or, check out the Okemo Flex Card and Okemo 8-Pack of savings on www.okemo.com.
Purchase ???Next-Day??? Lift Tickets After 3:00 pm:
Okemo skiers and riders can purchase lift tickets in advance inside the Okemo Welcome Center (Lodging Office at the Okemo base) from 3:30 pm to 10:30 pm daily.
Next day lessons and packages can be purchased from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm midweek (Monday through Friday) and from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm on weekends and holidays inside the Mountain Service Office, at the Cutting Edge Learning Center Desk, located in the Okemo Base Lodge, or in the Jackson Gore Express Rental Shop.
On Friday evenings through mid-March, the Okemo Express Rental Shop and the Jackson Gore Express Rental Shop will be open from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm so skiers and riders can purchase their lift tickets, lift/lesson packages and rental equipment in advance.
Lift Operations:
Get ready for an incredible vacation week. Lifts will start turning at 8:00 am throughout the entire holiday week (Feb 19 through 27).
President’s Day Sunday Solution Morning Half-Day Lift Ticket:
Okemo’s popular Sunday Solution morning half-day lift ticket is the perfect solution for weekend skiers and riders who prefer to ski in the morning and get an early start home on Sunday afternoon. Valid from 8:00 am until 1:30 pm. As an added bonus, the Sunday Solution lift ticket will also be offered on February 21, 2005.
Adults (ages 19-64): $55; Young Adults (ages 13-18) and Senior (ages 65-69): $47; Juniors (ages 7-12) and Super Seniors (age 70+): $36; Kids 6 & under are FREE
Okemo Village Shuttle Bus Service:
Okemo Village Shuttle Buses will run during the entire President’s Week Vacation (Feb 19 to 27) The Village Shuttle will make frequent stops throughout the Ludlow/Proctorsville on weekends and during holiday weeks through the month of March.

Sat-Fri, Feb. 19-25: Snickers SnowFest Week. Candy samplings all week long (while they last) with a variety of ???delectable delights” from M&M Mars.

Sat, Feb 19: Stella Artois Apr??s Ski Party at Vermont Pizza Co. from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Sat, Feb 19: Harpoon Apr??s Ski Party at the Sitting Bull restaurant and Lounge with a live DJ and other fun games.
Sun, Feb. 20: Torchlight Parade & Fireworks Display. Beginning at 7:30 pm at the Okemo Base Area. Watch the torchlight parade of Okemo employees ski/snowboard down the mountain followed by a spectacular fireworks display.
Sun, Feb. 20: Vermont Pure Spring Water Snowshoe Tour co-sponsored by Atlas Snowshoes. Snowshoe Tour departs the Okemo Base Area at 7:00 pm and head up the Bull Run trail for a bird??в„ўs-eye view of the fireworks.
Mon, Feb. 21: Live Sitting Bull entertainment from RHUMBOOGIE from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Tues, Feb. 22: The LUSTRE KINGS live in the Sitting Bull from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Wed, Feb. 23: Family Presentation featuring the Vermont Institute of Natural Science??в„ўs ???A Raptor Encounter???. The program will feature a first-hand encounter with live Falcons, hawks and owls. The program is free and open to the public. 7:30 pm in The Roundhouse.
Wed, Feb. 23: Live music by the SPIDERS in the Sitting Bull from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Thurs, Feb. 24: Live music by CHRIS KLEEMAN in the Sitting Bull from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Sat, Feb 26: Labatts Apr??s Ski Party featuring a live DJ from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the Sitting Bull.
Sat, Feb 26: “Comedy Fun Day” sponsored by Vermont Properties and Development on-snow at Solitude Village in front of the Solitude Day Lodge. Bring the kids for a fun day on the slopes with an obstacle course for all ages. Win great prizes and enjoy giveaways including Okemo stickers, popcorn, frisbees, candy and more. Don’t miss the Magician from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.

Sat, Feb. 26: Okemo Series SoBe Super Pipe Event. Competition is open to skiers and snowboarders of all ages. Registration 8:00 am to 9:00 am in the Okemo Base Lodge Mezzanine. Event starts at 10:00 am in the SoBe Super Pipe. Entry fee is $20.
