LUDLOW, VT ??” Just a few inches of natural snow was all that was needed to get the Okemo Valley Nordic Center open for cross country skiing and snowshoeing. The Nordic Center is offering cross-country skiing and snowshoeing on a portion of its vast trail network at a reduced rate. 20+ km of snowshoe terrain is open, along with 1 single track cross country trail (2 km).

The trail network will be freshly groomed and maintained daily by a Bombardier XC 180 grooming machine. This state-of-the-art groomer has twice the horsepower and will prepare a track 1-1/2 times wider than a traditional groomer.

The Nordic Shop has added an exciting new clothing line this season, along with a full line of cross-country ski equipment and snowshoes. Demos, equipment repairs and waxing are also available on-site. Guests can relax at Willie Dunn??в„ўs Grille for lunch, dinner and cocktails.

The Okemo Valley Nordic Center is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm on weekends and holiday periods. Be sure to call ahead to the Nordic Pro Shop at (802) 228-1396 for the latest on snow and trail conditions.
