LUDLOW, Vermont — When copious amounts of natural snow combine with a substantial base of Okemo Mountain Resort’s renowned snowmaking, all indicators point to a month of March that will offer ample coverage with favorable carving conditions. With the addition of some great deals on lift tickets, skiers and riders will be marching to Okemo all month long.

What a way to start the day. Every morning, the first hour of lift service at Okemo is free. It’s Okemo’s way of letting skiers and riders check out the conditions prior to purchasing a lift ticket. “Try Before You Buy” is available midweek from 9 until 10 a.m. and on weekends and holidays from 8 until 9 a.m.

Okemo shows its appreciation for all snow sliders with Skier/Rider Appreciation Days. On select Thursdays (March 13, 20, 27) lift tickets are just $39. The deal gets even better in April when lift tickets are just $29 on April 3 and 10.

Calling all OkeMommas. Ladies’ Days return on select Tuesdays in March. Mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts, nieces and girlfriends can ski or ride on select Tuesdays in March for just $39. And the savings continue with a group lesson for just $25 (with advance reservations). Ladies’ Days are March 4, 11, 18 and 25.

Buy Online. Value-packed specials and otherwise-unadvertised deals are just a click away at okemo.com. To take advantage of these savings, lift tickets must be purchased online at least 48 hours in advance.

OKEMOBOGOHO. Okemo’s version of buy-one-get-one-half-off is valid March 24 through April 4, 2008. When skiers and riders purchase a regular-priced adult lift ticket online, at least 48 hours in advance of the valid dates, they get a second lift ticket, valid for the same day, for half price.

For those snow sliding solo, two consecutive days are just $99 March 24 through April 3, 2008. When skiers and riders purchase online, at least 48 hours in advance, they get a two-day adult midweek rate of just $99. Young Adult/Senior and Junior/Super Senior rates are also available.

Kids Rock FREE March 24 through April 6, 2008. When parents purchase a regular-priced Adult lift ticket online (at least 48 hours in advance) they get a complimentary ticket, valid the same day, for their child age 7-18. This offer is limited to one Junior or one Young Adult ticket per paying adult. Child receiving the free ticket must be present when the online voucher is redeemed at the ticket window. Children 6 and younger ski free at Okemo every day with a child’s lift ticket.
