Plattekill Mountain Weekend Update
ROXBURY, New York ??” Plattekill Mountain in Roxbury, NY will be open this upcoming Friday, Saturday and Sunday with some great mid-winter conditions with cold temperatures finally remaining steady in the area. The weekend kicks off with $10 lift tickets for the first 100 skiers/riders this Friday, March 3rd.
Then, on Saturday, March 4th, Plattekill will be donating $4 from every $44 adult lift ticket purchased towards Rosies Love Foundation in support of children with childhood blood disorders and cancer. These same children will be on the slopes skiing at Plattekill all day on Saturday, so all are encouraged to hit the Plattekill slopes and show support for these children. Your lift ticket will make a difference in someone’s life.
Later that evening, the Plattekill Ski Patrol will be hosting their Annual Ski Patrol Fundraiser dinner/dance and torchlight parade. The evening will feature Brooks BBQ chicken and live music by mountain favorites ‘Jim and Bo’. Always a crowd pleaser, the annual Torchlight Parade will take to the slopess presented by the Plattekill Snowsports School later that evening. The festivities are open to all ages. Dinner tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door. All proceeds to benefit the Plattekill Mountain volunteer Ski Patrol. Dinner starts at 5:30pm with music and Torchlight Parade to follow.
Plattekill Mountain will also be open for snowtubing Saturday night from 5-9pm and Sunday, Plattekill will host Delaware County day with half price tickets for all county residents with proof of resident i.d.
