Q Burke Breaks Ground on New Hotel June 3rd

Q Burke Mountain ResortQ Burke Mountain Resort will host a groundbreaking ceremony for the Hotel Burke on Tuesday, June 3 at the Mid Burke area of the Resort, beginning at 1:00 pm. The ceremony will signify the beginning of the construction phase of the planned 116-room, ski-in, ski-out Hotel Burke, which will offer stunning views of both the Willoughby Gap and the mountain. Vermont Governor Peter Shumlin and Congressmen Peter Welch will be in attendance, as will the Q Resorts executive team, including Ariel Quiros, Ary Quiros and Bill Stenger. The ceremony will be hosted by Bill Stenger and is scheduled to feature remarks from Governor Shumlin, Congressmen Welch, Ary Quiros and Burke Mountain Academy headmaster Kirk Dwyer. There will be a short question and answer period immediately following the remarks.

Located in the heart of Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom, Q Burke has an elevation of 3,267 ft., over 2,011 ft. of vertical, 270 acres of skiing and riding spread out over 50 natural trails and 100 acres of glades.
