Settler’s Green Tubing Hill and Joe Jones Rail Jam Highlight Cranmore Weekend Events
NORTH CONWAY, New Hampshire — While Cranmore Mountain opens for its second weekend of tubing park operations, it will also host off-site special events at two premiere North Conway shopping outlets, Joe Jones Ski and Sports shop and the Settler’s Green Outlets.
For the third year in a row, shoppers at North Conway’s most popular outlet shopping center, Settler’s Green, will enjoy a mini-tubing hill with no admission charge. The tubing hill will be built by Cranmore’s snowmakers and staffed by the resort’s Arctic Blast Tubing Park team. Kids can enjoy riding a tube down the snowy slope from 11am ??“ 3pm on Saturday, December 1. The event will be attended by Cranmore’s C-More the Penguin. The resort will be giving away raffle tickets and discount coupons valid at the Tubing Park which is open this weekend from 9-4 at the mountain. The outlet is located on Route 16 in North Conway.
Cranmore’s Darkside Terrain Park crew will hold a rail jam outdoors in the parking lot of the Joe Jones Ski and Sports store on Route 16 in North Conway Village from 12-4pm on Sunday, December 2nd. Prizes will be awarded and there is no participation charge.
Both events require parent or guardian approval for minors.
Cranmore Mountain is open for full winter operations on Saturday, December 8, 2007. The mountain is anticipating opening with top to bottom skiing on terrain for all abilities.
