VERNON, New Jersey ??” The calendar may say that spring has arrived, but Mountain Creek is not ready to say goodbye to winter just yet. Mountain Creek has once again fired up the snowguns and is putting down fresh powder to extend the season through at least the coming weekend of March 25-26, 2006.

Lift tickets are just $25 and at least a dozen trails and one lift on the resort’s Vernon Peak will be open from 9am ??“ 4pm on Saturday and Sunday, with exclusive First Tracks Access for Season Pass holders beginning at 8am. Plus the barbeque will be fired up and ready to serve under the spring sun.

Temperatures have been perfect for snowmaking, so the resort’s snowmakers and groomers have been hard at work maintaining and improving conditions on Vernon Peak in anticipation of an incredible weekend of spring skiing and riding. This is officially the latest in the season the resort has ever made snow, and shows the ongoing commitment to exceed guests’ expectations and create memories again and again.

The long range forecast looks promising with continued cold nighttime temperatures and bright sunny days in the 40s, with some flurries mixed in for good measure…perfect for spring skiing and riding. So it’s possible that guests could be shushing down the slopes at Mountain Creek on April 1st. Stay tuned to www.mountaincreek.com for details and the up to the minute operating schedule.
