Colorado Hotel and Lodging Association Awards “Lifetime Achievement Award” and Recognizes Nominations

Vail, Co-November 2, 2011–Each year the Colorado Hotel and Lodging Association honors outstanding employees who work in the lodging industry. An awards luncheon was recently held at the Broadmoor resort in Colorado Springs, and hosted more than 200 lodging industry stars. Once again, several Vail Cascade Resort and Spa associates were recognized, and the prestigious “Lifetime Achievement Award” was bestowed upon Steve Trombetta, Director of Guest Services at Vail Cascade Resort.

Steve Trombetta has worked at Vail Cascade Resort & Spa for almost thirty years in guest service, and is consistently praised by visitors for his personal attention and above and beyond service. Some guests have reported that Steve is one of the main reasons they return each year.

Nine outstanding associates of Vail Cascade Resort were also honored with nominations for the Colorado Hotel and Lodging Association’s “Outstanding Employee of the Year” award. The associates nominated were: Nickole Moriarty, Margaret Pittman, Jonathan Seidt, Scott Copertino, Mike Benedict, Jill Flanagan, Kirsten Stuart, Devin Trickel and Tom Keith.

Brett Schoenfield, General Manager of Vail Cascade Resort congratulated the nominees and award winner Steve Trombetta, as well as all associates of the property for consistently providing a level of service that is recognized as the best in the lodging industry.
