STOWE VT (May 19, 2014) – For the last 20 years the Stowe Country Club has hosted an annual Memorial Day Golf Scramble. The Scramble event is open to the public as well as members of Stowe Country Club and Stowe Mountain Club. Members pay $10 and the fee for the general public is $50. This is a great opportunity to shake the rust off your golf game after the long winter. The shot-gun start is scheduled for 9:00AM on Monday, May 26, with an awards luncheon following. Boy Scout Troop 876 will be on hand to serve as an honor guard remembering fallen veterans.
