STOWE, Vermont ??” Experience the excitement of flying across the snow at whistling speed with Green Mountain Dog Sled Adventures of Stowe, Vermont. Bred for endurance, speed and friendliness, our Alaskan “Iditarod” sled dogs will pull you on the picturesque trails at Stow Mountain Resort.

Under the glow of high-powered headlamps, you will be whisked away to a simpler time before automobiles and snow machines were a way of life. Your dog sled adventure will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience and one of the highlights of your winter vacation. The dog’s sense of teamwork, camaraderie, and extraordinary power will astound you.

Along with the ride, the experience includes educational and photo opportunities. The rides are available at 5:00 pm. 6:00 pm, 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm., Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Each sled can hold up to two adults or one adult and two children. Maximum weight limit is 330 lbs. per sled. Tour prices are $125.00 per sled. Tours begin and end at the Toll House lift area, which is located adjacent to the Inn at the Mountain.
