STOWE, Vermont ??” Stowe Mountain Resort flipped the switch on winter operations for the 2005-2006 ski season today. The resort opened with top-to-bottom lifts and trails, amidst new snowfall from a winter weather system that’s forecasted to remain through the end of the week. Snowmaking will also continue around the clock to open more trails for the weekend.

On Saturday 11/26 Stowe will hold its’ third annual ‘Turkey Rail Jam’ to welcome in the winter. The event is open for all skiers and riders, and will take place from 12-2pm in Jib Nation on the North Slope trail.
