WARREN, Vermont ??” The Stratton Resort earned first place in the team division at the Ski Vermont Ski Bum Championships on March 22, 2005 held at Sugarbush Resort. Vermont ski areas fielded teams of six skiers and riders to compete for the title of the 2005 Vermont Ski Bum Champions.

The Vermont Ski Areas Association hosted this special event to honor the commitment from local skiers and their passion for skiing and riding in Vermont. Enthusiasm and devotion to the sport fuels Vermont’s resorts and keeps visitors returning. Ski Bum races are held during the season at mountains across Vermont. Typically races occur on a mid-week day. Men and women of all ages, abilities and disciplines compete against one another with camaraderie, respect and sportsmanship.
