Sugarbush Resort unveils new iPhone App
Warren, VT March 12, 2012 **- Sugarbush Resort unveiled a new iPhone app today that enhances the guest experience both on and off the mountain. The application is now available for free download on Apple’s iTunes App Store . The developer, Resorts Tapped, LLC also developed mobile apps for Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and Mammoth Mountain.
The new Sugarbush App is a comprehensive four-season guide to Sugarbush Resort in the palm of your hand. Features include resort and trail maps, access to webcams, photos, live lift, trail and snow reports, as well as a host of other features. On-mountain features enable users to track vertical feet, number of runs, speed and distance skied, and then share via email or Face book.
“People really like the tracking feature,” said world-class skier John Egan, Sugarbush’s Chief Recreation Officer. “Bragging rights will be in order when the season is over to see who logged the most vertical and most days on the mountain this spring.”
Sugarbush is hosting an App launch party this coming Saturday, March 17th, at the Wunderbar in the Valley House Lodge at Lincoln Peak. Sponsored by Small Dog Electronics and Blue Moon Brewing, the party includes an iPod Touch giveaway and beer specials from Blue Moon.
Sugarbush Resort is a four-season mountain resort located in the Mad River Valley of Vermont, and was recently named New England’s favorite ski resort by the readers of Boston.com. For more information, call 800.53.SUGAR or visit sugarbush.com
