CARRABASSETT VALLEY, Maine — The Machine, known throughout the country as “America’s premier Pink Floyd experience,” will headline Sugarloaf’s first Bud Light Concert Series event of the season on Saturday, January 10. The year-long concert series brings nationally known acts to the resort’s main stage throughout the winter season.

A New York based band, The Machine is known for recreating Pink Floyd songs and performances with extraordinary accuracy. The band performs a diverse mix of Pink Floyd’s extensive 16-album repertoire, including well known hits and obscure live cuts. The Machine’s shows are well known for their elaborate lighting and theatrical elements.

The Machine has performed to audiences around the world and at renowned music festivals, including Bonnaroo, Riverbend, and Germany’s Rock of Ages. According to Matt Diehl of Rolling Stone Magazine, “The Machine duplicates the sound and hits of Pink Floyd with chilling accuracy.”

Band members include founders Todd Cohen (drums) and Joe Pascarell (guitar, vocals), as well as Ryan Ball (bass, vocals), and Scott Chasolen (keys, vocals).

The show will be the first installment in Sugarloaf’s Bud Light Concert Series. This year’s schedule includes performances by The Derek Trucks Band on Feb. 7, and Soulive and Lettuce on Feb. 14, among others.

This will be a 21-plus show, and proper identification is required at the door. Tickets are $15 for general admission, and are available now at Sugarloaf Guest Services or by calling 1-800-THE-LOAF.
