Sunday River Wakes Up Winter With New Lift Ticket and Lodging Specials
NEWRY, Maine — The arrival of seasonable winter weather has generated excitement for skiers and snowboarders all across the eastern half of the country. Sunday River, which has maintained the most open terrain of any resort in New Hampshire and Maine since November, is offering a number of new specials to help skiers and snowboarders wake up to winter.
Sunday River has turned over 260 million gallons of water into snow as of Jan. 24 this winter season, which is an amount equivalent to burying the 50-acre Boston Common in 29 feet of snow, or over 1400 football fields one foot deep.
In addition to slopeside ski and stay packages, skiers and riders now waking up to winter have the following new options:
A Sunday River Affair
Skiers and riders holding a valid season pass to another ski resort are invited to ski or ride Sunday River midweek for $39 through Feb. 16.
Double Savings on E-tickets
Typically offering a 10% discount on lift tickets, E-tickets purchased through Feb. 9 are offering a 20% savings.
All For One Passholders Bring a Buddy
Skiers and riders with a valid All For One Pass can bring a friend one time through Feb 16. for $39.
$99 Super Sunday Special
A possible silver lining to the Patriots being eliminated from the playoffs is a Feb. 4-5 stay at Sunday River including two days of lift tickets and one night of lodging for $99 per person. Football parties will be underway at the all-new Foggy Goggle apr??s ski bar with 7 flat screen TVs, albeit without Tom Brady.
Weekend Group Specials
Any weekend in February Sunday River is offering special day and overnight rates for groups of 15 people or more. Group lodging rates start at $89 per person including lodging and lift ticket. Special day group rates on weekends in February are available from $42 adult and $33 for juniors and seniors.
