The Mount Washington Resort Announces New Assistant Director of Ski Operations

BRETTON WOODS, New Hampshire — Chris Ellms, Director of Ski Operations of The Mount Washington Resort’s ski area, Bretton Woods, announced today that Alexa Bernotavicz has been appointed the Assistant Director of Ski Operations for the Resort.

Bernotavicz is the recipient of a 2006 Ski Area Management magazine SAMMY Future Leadership Award, which honors individuals whose strong, innovative leadership demonstrated at mid-career shows exciting promise for even more accomplishments and leadership in the future.

Bernotavicz joins the Resort with a vast background in ski area operations management, most recently as Director of Mountain Operations for the Wildcat Mountain, where she began as the Children’s Ski School Director and later became Director of Lift Services and Ski Patrol. Extensive experience in forestry and backcountry mountaineering add to the list of Bernotavicz’s qualifications.
