The Mount Washington Resort Invites Guests to Ring in a Happy Holiday Season
BRETTON WOODS, New Hampshire — The Mount Washington Resort at Bretton Woods offers guests a truly enchanting holiday season this year. The Resort will kick start the holiday festivities with a Thanksgiving Holiday Celebration from Nov. 22-26, 2006, followed by Christmas revelry for the entire family from Dec. 22-25 and a fabulous two-day New Year’s Eve gala from Dec. 31-Jan. 1, 2007. From Dec. 22-25, families can enjoy roasted chestnuts and mulled apple cider in the grand lobby of the Mount Washington Hotel, while reveling in the joyful strains of strolling carolers and bell choirs. The entire hotel and the grounds surrounding it will be appropriately festooned to resemble a magical North Pole palace, with boughs of holiday greenery strung with twinkling lights, gorgeously decorated Christmas trees and enchanted scenes complete with playful plush bears and dutiful wooden soldiers. The weekend’s activities include gingerbread cookie decorating, holiday craft workshops and ornament decorating. Those looking for fun in the outdoors will enjoy a snow tubing party, snowshoeing, horse-drawn sleigh rides, skiing and snowboarding.
