WILMINGTON, New York — The U.S. Ski Team Day kicks off TGIF@W specials on Friday, February 9 at Whiteface.

Ski resorts around the nation are participating in the annual U.S. Ski Team Day, where $1 from every lift ticket purchased is donated to the U.S. Ski Team. Each guest who purchases a lift ticket receives a complimentary one year subscription to either Ski magazine or Skiing magazine by registering online at usskiteamday.com. Also, for each lift ticket purchased, skiers and riders will receive a voucher for a free Nature Valley NASTAR trial run.

Starting on Feb. 9 and continuing through the rest of the season is Thank Goodness it’s Friday at Whiteface, or TGIF@W. Happy hours begin on Fridays at 12:30 pm, when lift tickets are just $25 for skiing and riding until 4 pm with no blackout dates. The Cloudspin Lounge will offer great drink specials and entertainment to continue the Friday celebrations.
