The Wachusett Applefest returns this weekend from 10AM – 5PM with over 75 Craft Fair & Farmers’ Market Booths, Family Entertainment, Chainsaw Carving Demonstrations, Scenic Foliage Skyrides to the Summit, Mountainside Barbecue, Pony & Hay Rides, Clowns, the Climbing wall and Euro Bungee, Jugglers & Magicians for the Kids.

This year the St. Bernard’s Club will join the fun on Saturday, as well as the always popular Birds of Prey Raptor Show, taking place throughout the weekend!

Metal, class and ceramics artisans from the Worcester Center for Crafts will be on hand to display and sell their work.

Applefest will once again feature an Oktoberfest Celebration complete with authentic German cuisine, a multitude of tasty beers in the Beer Garden and LIVE music by Phil Darby’s Oompah Band on Saturday and the Austrian Boys Band on Sunday!

The 3rd Annual Great New England Apple Pie Contest on Saturday, October 20th. The contest is open to amateur bakers.

A Giant Pumpkin weigh-off will also take placeon Saturday afternoon and viewers will be able to take photos with the winning pumpkins.

Sunday’s events include a Cider House 5k Road Race, and a Giant Pumpkin boat race.
