Waterville Valley Hosts Independence Day Celebrations
WATERVILLE VALLEY, New Hampshire ??” Waterville Valley Resort gets ready for Independence Day by kicking off the celebration with its free concert series in the Town Square starting Saturday, July 1. The concert series runs every Saturday evening from 6 – 9 p.m. A bonus of three extra concerts will take place over the long weekend.

Not only is there music and fireworks on the 4th of July, but also the resorts hosts its annual parade starting at 3 p.m. The parade is a partnership between the Town of Waterville Valley, the resort and the Recreation Department. Anyone interested in participating in the parade with a classic car or on a bike can begin the line-up at 2:30 in the parking lot of the Waterville Valley Conference Center.
Throughout the weekend there will be kids’ activities and BBQ’s. Corcoran’s Pond beach is open to the public and favorite for families to enjoy some fun in the sun.
The celebration wraps up at 9:30p.m. on the night of the 4th with fireworks. Spectators are encouraged to find a spot early as this is a very popular show.
Waterville Valley Town Square hosts numerous events throughout the summer including a farmers market, Learn-to-Dance Nights, classical music performances and animal presentations with the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center.
