WATERVILLE VALLEY, New Hampshire ??” Waterville Valley Resort joins the Pink Mountain Program and the Boarding for Breast Cancer Foundation (B4BC) on Sunday, February 5, to aid the effort to educate young women about the significance of early breast cancer detection and the importance of an active lifestyle. The terrain park crew will host a pink rail jam, pink items will be sold throughout the resort, and Waterville Valley employees will have the opportunity to donate one hour of their paycheck to the B4BC Foundation.

Registration for the rail jam is from 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. and includes a lift ticket and raffle ticket for a pink product toss at the end of the day. The resort will donate the full $40 registration fee for the Rail Jam to Boarding for Breast Cancer.

“Waterville Valley is in full support of the efforts of the Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC) foundation and because it was started by snowboarders and is only fitting that resorts aid in the process of educating young individuals,” said Marketing Director Deb Moore.

B4BC was started in 1996 by professional snowboarders Tina Basich and Shannon Dunn, Black Sun Productions owner Lisa Hudson and W.i.g. (Women in General) magazine publisher Kathleen Gasperini after friend Monica Steward passed away from complications of breast cancer after a two year battle.
