WINDHAM, New York — Windham Mountain is gearing up for its third annual “Endless Winter Rail Jam,” which will take place Saturday, May 26, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. The event is free to the public.

The rail jam gives skiers and snowboarders one last chance to get out on snow and ride in a small terrain park that’s set up with boxes and rails that they can perform tricks on.

“It’s become quite a tradition for us to stockpile snow for our late spring rail jam,” said Special Events Manager, Troy Ketcham. “To see white snow in the middle of the mountain in full bloom is quite a sight. The kids have a great time skiing and riding in shorts and t-shirts.”

Last year’s rail jam was well attended and we expect even more winter sports enthusiasts to show up this year. There will be giveaways throughout the day from Rome, Rossignol and others.
