Women’s Nordic Camp Returns to the Nordic Center at Waterville Valley Feb. 3-6

WATERVILLE VALLEY, New Hampshire ??” The Nordic Center at Waterville Valley will host the Women’s Sports Works’ Ski For Yourself Nordic Ski Camp February 3-6. Ski For Yourself Camps provide instruction, information, and inspiration by women, for women of all ages & abilities.

“This is our eighth yearhosting the Women’s Ski For Yourself Camp,” says Nordic Director Mike Seeger. “The Nordic Center at Waterville Valley Resort offers the rarecombination of breathtaking scenery,world class trails and grooming, and full service Nordic facilitieswith all the amenities of ourresort community.The uniquely appealingaspect of the program is the
combination ofathleticism, camaraderie and luxury. You can see how the self esteem of the “campers” grows as they learn new skillsand realize that it is okay topamper yourself a bit with massage and gourmet meals.Everything the women need is within walking distance.”

The Nordic Center at Waterville Valley offers 70 km of groomed trails winding through the White Mountain National Forest. All trails diverge from the Nordic Center, located at Town Square. Ski For Yourself participants will stay at the Silver Fox Inn, where meals will be prepared by a favorite local caterer and served family style in the inn’s dining room. With a skating rink, horse-drawn sleigh rides, a market and other shopping, and a full athletic center, there is something for everyone at Waterville Valley.

A typical day at the Ski For Yourself Camp starts with breakfast and morning ski clinics, followed by lunch and a video, afternoon clinics, free time, a yoga class, dinner and a ski care clinic. Registration includes lodging, meals, instruction, ski care clinic, Fischer equipment demos, yoga classes and a long-sleeved camp T-shirt. Ski For Yourself coaches are former U.S. Ski Team and Fischer Team skiers and certified professional ski instructors who encourage participants to focus fully on their own bodies, their movements and their own goals.
