"BromleyPERU, VT – With recent temps dipping into the twenties and teens, Bromley Mountain turned its arsenal of snowguns on full blast on Monday, and they’ve been on since. The result of all of this hard work by the snowmaking team is that Bromley has announced that it will open for skiing and riding this Saturday, November 16th. “It’s the earliest opening that I can remember, and I’ve been here 40 years,” says Bromley President Bill Cairns, “It’s a testament to a lot of hard work by our crew, and our continued investment in snowmaking upgrades. This cold weather allows us to show off the power of our system, and proves that we’ll open as soon as Mother Nature allows!”

Bromley plans to open Saturday, 9am-4pm with two runs stretching from summit to base. “The snowmaking guys have done their part and now they’ll hand it off to the grooming and lift teams to make sure everything is ready to go for Saturday morning,” said Rick Goddard, Bromley’s Mountain Manager.

The Sun Mountain Express high Speed Quad will be in operation, and there will be terrain for intermediate and advanced skiers and riders only. Lift tickets will be priced at $49, all ages, all day, and there will be no half-day options. The Sunday Afternoon Passport will be available on Sunday from 12:30-4pm for just $32. All season passes (including midweek) will be valid for skiing and riding this weekend.

The operating plan moving forward will include weekend-only operations through November 24th, with full-time operations (7 days/week) beginning on Friday, November 29th. This is, of course, weather permitting.
