BARTLETT, New Hampshire ??\u0432\u0402\u045c Olympic, World Cup and National Team skiers and riders will be headed to the Mount Washington Valley to put on two highflying action performances at the Attitash Aerial Assault in Bartlett, New Hampshire. Saturday, March 4th the snowboarders, freeride skiers and US Ski Team aerialists will launch off of big air kickers and soar, twist and fly side by side through the air. On Sunday, March 5 the aerialists will be on-site at the Atomic Slopestyle – Free Ride Event, being held in Attitash’s Signature Terrain Park, to give competitors professional pointers on big air. <\/p>\n
Each show is fifty minutes of non-stop action. The first show will take off at 12 noon and will be an exciting preview for that evening’s main event. The 7:00PM extravaganza will include a choreographed fireworks display, live music with the I-Rates before and after the show, and a post show autograph signing session with the athletes. <\/p>\n
“We are looking to fly high – we have some heavy hitters coming in – it will be an exciting show with a Cirque Du Soleil\/ X-Games vibe,” said Jack Fleming, former World Cup Freestylist and founder of Jumpin Jack Sports. “The Olympic athletes are looking forward to getting back together here in the States, and Attitash is one of our favorite stops – they consistently build a world class jumping facility for us and there is always a great crowd.” <\/p>\n
This event gives spectators an opportunity to get a little taste of the Olympics here in America. The team will be made up of recent Bronze Medallist in the 2006 X-Games and Seabrook, NH resident, Scotty Lago; former US Ski Team Members and Olympians Britt Swartley, Brian “Curdog” Currutt, Jerry Grossi ; Top 5 many time podium skier Luke “Skywalker” Westerlund and pro-rider Liam Barrett. Local Next Games All-Star and US Open Freerider, Tucker Perkins, will be returning home to perform in the show as well as the recently crowned, Attitash Spread Eagle World Champion, Nick Mazzaglia. For further details visit www.jumpinjacksports.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n Added features to the show will be a Bud Light Concert Series performance by The I-Rates, a Portland based reggae\/ska band, taking place in Ptarmigan’s Pub from 3:30-6:00PM and then again following the show from 7:45-9:45PM. Melee, resident DJ at Avalon in Boston, MA will be mixing tunes alongside both Saturday shows. <\/p>\n Attitash is in the White Mountains of New Hampshire on Rt. 302 in Bartlett. During the winter Attitash offers 2 mountains with 70 trails and 22 miles of skiing and riding on 280 acres. In the summer guests can enjoy North America’s longest Alpine Slides, waterslides, a scenic sky ride, lift-serviced mountain biking, climbing wall, Trampoline Thing, horseback rides, driving range and skate park.
