With over 300 inches of annual snowfall, on top of a base created from extensive and improved snowmaking systems, the soft snow surface of spring lasts well into the month of April. That’s why Stowe’s Spring Summit Celebration cannot be contained to just one weekend, or even two. Its four weekends of fun, sun and snow revolving around both action-packed and laid back events on the mountain. Enter a contest or be a spectator, just don’t forget your Himaya sunscreen.<\/p>\n

\nSaturday, Stowe Rail Jam – The Stowe Rail Jam brings out the spring fever in all of us. No registration, no competitions just pick up a raffle ticket, and jam on. Great raffle prizes and everyone gets to take home a commemorative t-shirt.
\nSunday, MMSP Bump Contest ??\u0432\u0402\u045a The Mt. Mansfield Ski Patrol Bumps Contest will test your speed, style and technical moves in the bumps. Open to skiers, riders, and telemarkers of all ages. All proceeds go to the Vermont Children’s Trust Foundation.<\/p>\n
\nSaturday & Sunday, 65th Annual Sugar Slalom – The oldest and most esteemed race in the US. Participants race down historic Nosedive & then enjoy the traditional treat of sugar on snow at the finish.
\nSaturday, Stowe Slopestyle Series Part III – Open to male and female amateur skiers, riders and telemarkers of all ages. The event is a two run, freestyle format through Tyro Terrain Park. Competitors placing in their category will take home cash prizes, and everyone will leave with a Spring Summit t-shirt.
\nSunday, Sprucefest ??\u0432\u0402\u045a VT Food Products Day with delicious samples of VT products, and a party at Spruce Peak with music, BBQ and some great savings on ski and ride gear in our Spruce Retail shop.<\/p>\n
\nSaturday, Stowe Halfpipe Jammy – From noon-2pm Stowe Halfpipe Jam will be an event the entire family can join. You don’t have to be an expert to take a run through the pipe. Stop by, grab a raffle ticket and drop in. No registration, no competition. We’ll be jamming out to tunes, cheering everyone on, and giving away great prizes after the event. Everyone will take home a t-shirt.
\nSunday, Boarding for Breast Cancer Pink Mountain Power Pipe Jam ??\u0432\u0402\u045a Women only fun pipe jam, with all proceeds going to Boarding for Breast Cancer, an non-profit educational organization raising awareness of breast cancer issues for young women. $10 Registration fee. \nSunday, The 52nd Easter Sunrise Service – A non-denominational service atop Vermont’s highest peak. Ride up the gondola for free beginning at 4:30AM until 5:45 sharp. You can ski\/ride down after.
