"sugarbushWarren, VT (January 31, 2014) – The Sugarbush Ski & Ride School is hosting Women’s Ski Discovery Camps this winter -a weekday camp from March 10th – 12th.

In a move specifically designed to make it easier for working women and mothers to attend the camps, Sugarbush has taken the novel step this year of providing each participant in Women’s Discovery either a half-price full-day kids program in their celebrated Schoolhouse children’s center or a half-price companion adult lift ticket for each day of the camp.

“At Sugarbush, we understand that one of the biggest obstacles to women’s participation in programs like Women’s Discovery is the anxiety that comes from wondering what the rest of the family will do while you’re having fun,” says Russ Kauff, Director of the Ski & Ride School. “Alleviating that anxiety, making it easier and simpler to plan for the rest of the family, should make for a far better experience for our camp participants.”

Coached by the best of Sugarbush’s Ski & Ride School coaches, the program includes an evening round table discussion by industry leaders, ski demos provided by Volkl, video analysis, stretch sessions, group meals and après ski parties.

Skida, a Vermont company providing functionally stylish headwear and accessories, and Smartwool, an American maker of exceptional footwear, are sponsors of the camps. The camp is $475 exclusive of day tickets, which are available at a discount for campers.
