MOUNT SNOW, Vermont — Mount Snow is sending out an open invitation for people to email digital photos of their backyard to [email]mybackyard@mountsnow.com[\/email].<\/p>\n

The photos will be posted on the Mount Snow homepage (www.mountsnow.com<\/a>) as part of a rotating banner of photos, says Mount Snow Communications Manager, Chris Lenois. Each photo will be placed side by side with a picture of a trail to demonstrate the mountain’s massive snowmaking capabilities. <\/p>\n

“Some people in the Northeast have yet to see a snowflake this winter,” says Lenois. “But our snowmaking team can make it look like winter in a hurry.”<\/p>\n

People should include their family name and the town where the photo was taken when they send the email, says Lenois. <\/p>\n

Single digit temperatures this week has allowed snowmaking operations to get more than 40 trails ready for this weekend. Mount Snow has top to bottom terrain available for all skier and rider ability levels. There are two terrain parks open for freestylers, with some of the only natural jumps open in the Northeast. They will also begin offering tubing for the first time this season starting Saturday.
