The Bolton Valley Long Shot Mega-Box Challenge \u2013 Saturday, April 5<\/span><\/p>\nThe Long Shot Mega-Box Challenge combines two events into one. In the first event, competitors will find that the Bolton Valley park crew has strung together as many boxes in a row as they can. Competitors must try to make it to the end in one shot. The winner will be determined by whoever makes it the furthest. Each competitor gets two attempts. Then the park crew will work in the park in the days leading up to the event to set up the sickest rail jam possible for the second half of the event. Skiers and riders can show off their talent on the creative course.<\/p>\n
Event entry is $10\/person and all entries will be donated to the United College Club. Competitor lift tickets will be available for $19. Registration is from 10-11:30 a.m. in the base lodge. The Long Shot Mega-Box Challenge is from noon \u2013 12:45 p.m. The rail jam will be held from 1-2:30 p.m. Awards will be given to the best overall skier and rider and for best trick. Other prizes based on gender, age, style and effort will be awarded at the judges\u2019 discretion. Awards for both events will be held at 3 p.m.<\/p>\n
