BARTLETT, New Hampshire — Attitash in Bartlett, New Hampshire will open with top-to-bottom terrain on their signature trail Illusion, offering skiing and riding for advanced levels only. The Flying Bear High Speed Quad on Bear Peak will spin starting at 8:00 AM, Sunday, November 18, 2007. <\/p>\n

“This time of year is what excites snowmakers??\u0412\u00a6they are ready to go at every opportunity around the clock and are tasked with getting us open for the season. They are equally as fired up as any skier or rider with regards to seeing more and more terrain available on a weekly basis,” said Kevin Kasten, mountain operations manager. <\/p>\n

This will be the earliest opening of Illusion in the history of the resort. Peak Resorts invested more than $2.5 million in snowmaking enhancements over the summer including the installation of 34 state of-the-art fan guns on Illusion alone, along with additional 55 fan guns on Moat, Spillway, Thad??\u0432\u201e\u045es Choice and the Learning Center. <\/p>\n

“Opening top-to-bottom with Illusion is a great sign of things to come. We have invested a tremendous amount in new fan gun snowmaking technology and our guests will immediately see the results of what these fan guns can do,” said Kent Graham, V.P. & General Manager. “Our goal is to have quality terrain for all level of abilities along with some park elements for the Thanksgiving weekend.” <\/p>\n

Lift tickets will be priced at $30 for adults and $20 for young adults prior to Thanksgiving Day. Attitash will resume regular operating hours during the week and will be closed on Thanksgiving to observe the holiday. <\/p>\n
