JAY, Vermont — It may be a holiday week at ski resorts during Presidents’ Week, but families skiing and riding at Jay Peak will still find the resort’s signature free daycare with all ski and stay packages, plus a line-up of special events for the school vacation week.<\/p>\n

“Lodging and lift tickets are typically standard in a Ski & Stay Package,” said Jay Peak Resort Vice President of Sales and Marketing Steve Wright. “But we like to include everything to make a family vacation affordable, including full breakfasts and dinners, plus free daycare for children ages two to seven, free lodging, lift tickets, and meals for kids ages six and under.”<\/p>\n

The above outlines a Ski & Stay Package slopeside at the Hotel Jay, just adjacent to Vermont’s only aerial tram. Other packages are available in the resort’s condominiums, townhouses and single family homes and include all of the above except meals as all units come complete with fully equipped kitchens.<\/p>\n

“We’re excited for our line-up of events that will complement fantastic winter conditions this year,” said Brian Keet, special events director.” There’s something for everyone, regardless of your age. The activities are created so everyone in the family will have a great time.”<\/p>\n

The Presidents’ Week line-up includes:
\nMonday, Feb. 18<\/strong> ??\u0432\u0402\u045a Welcome Party, 4-6 p.m. for skiers and riders staying at Jay Peak
\nTuesday, Feb. 19<\/strong> ??\u0432\u0402\u045a Snowcat rides on the mountain, 4:15 p.m. followed by a Puppet Show by Chuck Meese (see on-site schedule for time)
\nWednesday, Feb. 20<\/strong> ??\u0432\u0402\u045a Dairy and Maple Farm Tour, 4 p.m.; Hypnosis by Robert Shelley, 7 p.m. in the Tram Cafeteria.
\nThursday, Feb. 21<\/strong> ??\u0432\u0402\u045a Snowsports School Party, 4 p.m. in The IR and then Fireworks at dusk on the Interstate Trail.
\nFriday, Feb. 22<\/strong> ??\u0432\u0402\u045a Frick & Frack (DJ’s w\/ Attitude), 4 ??\u0432\u0402\u045a 6 p.m. in the Golden Eagle Lounge, plus dinner music and story telling done by Tim Jennings in the Hotel Jay Alpine Room and Hotel Jay Family Room. <\/p>\n

There are still a few rooms available for the holiday week, but reservations are going fast and are strongly recommended.
