LUDLOW, Vermont — Okemo Mountain Resort’s snowmaking and grooming teams have been working all season long to provide skiers and snowboarders with some pretty sweet conditions. To enhance all that powdered sugar goodness on the slopes, Okemo will celebrate Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, with a Sweetheart Scavenger Hunt and a Find-the Liftie-with-a-Heart contest.

Ten red hearts will be hidden along trails throughout the resort on Valentine’s Day. When a skier or rider finds a heart and takes it to Okemo’s Learning Center Desk at the Okemo Clock Tower Base Area, they’ll win one of ten fabulous prizes.

Because Okemo loves its lifties, otherwise known as lift attendants, the resort wanted skiers and riders to recognize that the hearty men and women who keep chairlifts running smoothly and safely, have a lot of love for resort guests. On Valentine’s Day, one of Okemo’s lifties will be wearing a bright red heart on his/her uniform. Skiers and riders who report the name of the lovable liftie to the Okemo Clock Tower Base Area Learning Center Desk, will win a sweet treat.

Whoever it was that said, “two’s company, three’s a crowd,” never tried one of Epic’s trilogy specials. A chef’s signature menu item, the trilogy is a three-portion dish of select menu items. Epic, Okemo’s newest restaurant concept located at Solitude Village, also offers a daily sampling trio of soups and a trio of desserts that make the perfect ending to any lunchtime visit. As a very special Valentine’s Day treat, Epic’s Chef Craig Cornell will be conducting one of his popular “Dinner with Class” cooking school sessions. He will be showcasing his cooking skills

and demonstrating how to prepare a restaurant style entree at home. The class is scheduled from 4-6 p.m., followed by a four-course dinner. Family and friends can partake in dinner for a nominal charge. The class fee, including dinner, is $100. Dinner only is $45.
