BROMLEY MOUNTAIN, Vt – Joseph J. O’Donnell, owner of Bromley Mountain ski area and Vermont’s summer Adventure, announced today a leadership change at Bromley.

Mountain Resort Management LLC, owned by Brian and Tyler Fairbank, is retained as the management company for Bromley Mountain and Bill Cairns, former Director of Resort Operations, has been promoted to General Manager and will manage day-to-day operations. President Rich Wiseman retired in early May.

O’Donnell and the Fairbanks have been long-time business partners in a variety of enterprises and currently operate both Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort in Massachusetts and Cranmore Mountain resort in New Hampshire.

“It seemed like a perfect fit,” says O’Donnell, “this gives us the opportunity to leverage all of what makes Bromley special with the business practices that have been so successful at Jiminy, and now Cranmore. I have a long history with the Fairbanks and have every confidence in them and their selection of Bill Cairns as the GM.” O’Donnell has been the owner of Bromley since 1986.

“We are excited about the future of Bromley,” says Tyler Fairbank, managing partner of Mountain Resort Management, LLC. “There is tremendous heritage and history, and it’s a wonderful mountain. The summer operations have grown into a formidable operation and the winter experience is excellent. We are looking forward to expanding winter children’s facilities and programs and providing an outstanding and unique experience for families, skiers and snowboarders.”

“This is a tremendous opportunity,” says Bill Cairns, a 30-year veteran at Bromley. “I am looking forward to helping to lead Bromley at an exciting time for the mountain.”
