Ski Vermont launched a new website this fall working with Methodikal, Inc. and Eternity Web to give users a new and better online experience, and to provide a comprehensive place for people to find information about Vermont resorts, deals, conditions, events and places to stay. Highlights include an updated Resort Finder, helping those looking for the perfect Vermont ski and snowboard vacation, and a responsive design for easy use on mobile phones, tablets and desk top computers.

“We are really excited about using local talent at Methodikal Inc. and Eternity Web to create a fully responsive design that is not only beautiful, but highly functional,” said Ski Vermont’s Director of Marketing Kyle Lewis. Methodikal has been a longtime source of design for the Ski Vermont brand, including the Ski Vermont magazine, posters and other collateral. They have updated the site with fresh visuals, furthering brand consistency.

Eternity Web, using the flexible ModX content management system, has re-designed the structure of the site for a better user experience. The new platform allows resorts and in-house bloggers to share more stories, videos and photos and integrates better with Ski and Ride Vermont’s social media platforms. Featured content will include entries from insiders at Burton and anon, and Ski Vermont’s family ski and ride experts, the All Mountain Mamas.

Other highlights include a new mapping feature that helps visitors explore great Vermont landmarks outside of the resorts, like the Ben & Jerry’s factory, Cabot Creamery and Green Mountain Coffee visitor’s centers. Lodging properties at resorts and nearby are also listed and easily searchable.

The updated site also serves as a new platform for Ski Vermont contests, like this month’s Experience More at Stratton Giveaway. Partnering with Rossignol and Ski Magazine, one lucky winner will receive a prize package valued at $5,500. Included is a three night lift and lodging package at Stratton Mountain Resort, 2015 gear, apparel and bags from Rossignol, a yearlong subscription to Ski magazine and more. The contest runs through November 30th.
