\"Butternut<\/a>(Great Barrington, MA) Ski Butternut\u2019s Mountain Operations manager, Tony Bleau, announced on November that the weather forecast looks favorable to begin snowmaking. Temperatures are predicted to drop into the teens tonight and are forecast to stay good and cold through Friday before moderating a little next week. The Ski Butternut snowmaking team is prepared to take full advantage of these good snowmaking conditions and plans to make snow on 13 of their 22 trails in hopes of opening with more than 50% of their terrain for the first weekend in December.<\/p>\n
