Members of popular ski and snowboard forum to gather at Sugarloaf in February<\/p>\n

CARRABASSETT VALLEY, Maine \u2013 AlpineZone.com, the northeast\u2019s most popular online outdoor adventure forum, will host the fourth annual AlpineZone Summit at Sugarloaf, February 8-10. AlpineZone.com members will enjoy discounted lodging packages, special apr\u00e8s ski parties, a free Sunday lift ticket, first tracks on Sunday morning, and more.<\/p>\n

Sugarloaf, the largest ski resort in the East with 1153 skiable acres, has hosted the AlpineZone Summit at Sugarloaf for the past three years, with attendance growing from 40 members the first year to more than 80 the last two seasons.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s Summit will begin on Friday night with a special welcome party, hosted by AlpineZone administrators, in the penthouse suite of the Sugarloaf Mountain Hotel. The party will feature free drinks, a hot tub, and complimentary hors d’oeuvres provided by Sugarloaf\u2019s newest restaurant, 45 North.<\/p>\n

Saturday will be spent skiing and riding on Sugarloaf\u2019s legendary terrain, and will once again include a guided tour of the newly opened terrain in Brackett Basin, part of Sugarloaf\u2019s massive, 655-acre terrain expansion onto Burnt Mountain.<\/p>\n

At the end of the day members will be invited to attend the AlpineZone Apres Party in the Widowmaker Loft, where they will enjoy complimentary appetizers and sign up for first-tracks on Sunday morning. The Apres Party will also feature the annual AlpineZone Awards, recognizing many of the forum\u2019s most active members.<\/p>\n
