<\/a>Enticing events for families, late-night revelers, skiers and riders<\/p>\nSTRATTON MOUNTAIN, Vermont \u2013 A holiday season full of events, activities, and of course, snow, is in store for skiers and riders at Stratton Mountain Resort. Starting December 21, the holiday schedule is packed with music, activities for families, a yoga celebration, parties and fireworks.<\/p>\n
Here\u2019s a taste of what\u2019s coming up for the holiday season at Stratton:<\/p>\n
Free live music for apr\u00e8s and late night at Grizzly\u2019s, weekends all season.
\nFree and family friendly bands rock at Grizzly\u2019s above the Base Lodge every weekend, and DJs keep the party running into the night. Music is also daily from Dec. 27 to 29, with special performances on New Year\u2019s Eve. Check Stratton.com for the full calendar.<\/p>\n
Daily Crafts and Activities for Families, December 26-31.
\nCookie decorating, ornament making and other holiday crafts, free for kids every day at 4 pm. Plus, free cocoa in the morning and sugar on snow in the afternoon to sweeten the ski day.<\/p>\n
Free Evening Events for Everyone
\nA variety of entertainment every evening, free and family friendly:
\nDecember 27: Warm Your Hands & Warm Your Heart, with Beryl Bender Birch. An invitation to slow down, breathe and enjoy the moment. 7 – 8:30 pm, at The Living Room.
\nDecember 28: Om for the Holidays Celebration. A party in the Base Lodge with a farmer\u2019s market, local crafts, live music by DEVI, slack line, mountain hooping, food and more. 7 – 9 pm.
\nDecember 29: West Coast Swing. Class teaching this freestyle form of dance, no partner required and beginners are welcome. 7 \u2013 8:30 pm, at The Living Room.
\nDecember 30: Everyone’s Drumming. An interactive drumming experience for people of all ages. 7 – 8:30 pm, at The Living Room.
\nDecember 31: Free Party and Family Fun Activities. Kid\u2019s crafts, karaoke, face painters, balloon art, magic and more, in the Base Lodge East Wing, 7 to 9 pm.<\/p>\n
Om for the Holidays, December 27-30.
\nAn enlightened celebration from mat to mountain of yoga, music, balance and joy to melt away holiday stress. This 3-day yoga festival features classes from renowned yoga instructors, hooping classes, guided hikes and exciting evening events like swing dancing, drumming and an evening festival. Evening activities are free and open to everyone, and those wishing to attend classes and daytime activities may purchase an individual class or one or three day passes. World Snowboard Day, December 30.
\nCelebrate snowboarding as a sport, a culture and a lifestyle with a day full of exclusive events and offers, including a snowboard flash mob, movie premieres, free clinic, retail specials, snowboard trivia and more.<\/p>\n
New Year\u2019s Eve Fireworks, Torchlight Parade & Parties, December 31
\nRing in the New Year with our annual fireworks & torchlight parade and parties for everyone. Festivities include a family-friendly dinner buffet, free entertainment and crafts for the family, fireworks and a midnight party at Grizzly\u2019s.
