\"sugarbush\"<\/a>Warren, VT (December 26, 2012) \u2013 With a large winter storm in the forecast, Sugarbush Resort already has 100% of its trails open for skiing and riding.<\/p>\n

As of today, Sugarbush is the only ski area in the Northeast 100% open according to SnoCountry.com, a ski industry-reporting website. Sugarbush credits its existing snowmaking infrastructure, recent investments in new snowmaking technology and Mother Nature for achieving this goal before all the other resorts in the Northeast.<\/p>\n

\u201cSugarbush has picked up 55\u201d of snow at upper elevations in just the last 11 days,\u201d said Win Smith, President of Sugarbush. \u201cWe\u2019re delighted that our holiday guests are experiencing such great conditions.\u201d<\/p>\n

Currently under a winter storm warming issued by the national weather service, the Sugarbush area is expecting more snow this week. Heavy snow is forecasted to begin Wednesday evening continuing through Thursday and tapering off overnight on Thursday. Forecasters are calling for 8-14\u201d with the heaviest snowfall at upper elevations and along the eastern slope of the Green Mountains.<\/p>\n

Though the holiday visitors are arriving, Sugarbush still has some lodging and private lesson availability for the week. Visitors are being rewarded with many terrain options, copious snowfall, and a full holiday events calendar. Daily apr\u00e8s-ski live music, culinary festivals, kid\u2019s nights, and the annual New Year\u2019s Eve dog parade and fireworks are just some of the happenings on the calendar.<\/p>\n
