    AlpineZone Challenge 2014 - Chris Farmer of Saddleback

    How do you compete with other ski ares that have season passes that are good at multiple mountains?

    Paying extra $$ for all day VIP lift access?

    Sunday River also sells a Sliver pass that isn't valid on peek days, which helps greatly with the crowds. For all of you concerned about lines, come to Sunday River, even on the busiest of days most lines are less than 5 minutes, and you can always find a mountain with no lift lines or less...

    Worst 10 lifts in the East?

    Totally agree, it rare to ride the lift without it stopping. Everyone I know that ski Sunday River avoids it if at all possible

    How did Okemo handle crowd this past weekend?

    I was surprised at how busy Sunday River was this weekend. Nice to see so many people enjoying a great ski day. It was one of the busiest days of the year, but Sunday River really hands a crowd well, so could always find a place or two with short lift lines.

    Best ski area no one has ever heard of?

    What is the best ski area that no one, or very few people have heard of? I will put on the list the Missoula Snowbowl. Its in MT. 2200 acres of skiing. Only two slow double lifts, really great long runs. Fabulous tree skiing. Lift tickets are $38 a day. On MT hotel room $50 a night. Very...

    Who’s had a skiing honeymoon?

    Zermont Got married on March 13th, 1993 biggest snow storm of the century, felt sad leaving NE, but on the 14th we fly to Switzerland and ski Zermont for 10 days. Skiing was fabulous, great town, no gas cars. Alps are really great to ski in, incredibly beautiful. If you are able I really...

    The say only something positive about your "home mountain" thread...

    Sunday River Sunday River Great variety of terrain, lots of trees and moguls. Lot of variety of resturants, perty good food. Best Lobster Roll I have ever had at the Google. A great management team of people that listen. Oh, no one as said this, but I think they got a great retail...

    Killington = 6th

    Snow East Snow East Mag does a survey too, it a reader survey and I think it thus basis by resorts that simply have more skiers. But check it out, it tells a different story. The link has more info http://www.snoweastmagazine.com/pdf/2009%20SNOWEAST%20Reader%20Survey%20Results_Part1.pdf...

    Killington = 6th

    I can't believe that Sunday River isn't on the list. How in the world can Smugglers’ Notch be number two, unless this is a list of longest long and slowest lefts. And where is Jay? Can't the Zone do its own survey.

    AZ Challenge 2009: Chris Nyberg, Killington/Pico

    Disconnect I think that most people are fairly happy with management at Sunday River where I ski. We've got a fair active dissuasion board to bring up issues. Management is very available and does lots of meet and greats. We don't always agree, but we feel heard. After reading a lot of...

    AZ Challenge 2009: Chris Nyberg, Killington/Pico

    I don't understand why Az Challenge is 17 pages long, and frankly mean and nasty, yet SR Stephen Kircher is closed after only 3 pages of fairly pleasant questions. Can you please explain. Also, when should we expect to get answers. For the record I skied Killington twice this year and had a...
