    One day to ski--recommendations?

Agree with snowmonster that these are the best choices if proximity to Boston is the main driver. The problem for all of them with the exception of Sunapee is that you'll ski all the terrain within a couple of hours (or even an hour depending on how hard you ski). Wachusett does have $10 off...

How long have you been skiing?

Started at the age of 13, skied frequently through high school and college (at least when I had funds in college). Took 6 years off due to kids and work. Finally took my daughter skiing for her first time when she was 6. For the past 3 years (I'm 35), actively skiing with the kids.

Anybody know how much skihaus charges if you didn't buy the equipment from them? Also does anybody know if REI will do a good job? I know to avoid Ski Market like the plague. I picked up skiing again a couple of years ago when my kids (it's their skis that need the bindings mounted) were...

Reputable shop needed to mount bindings in metro Boston?

I've assembled skis, bindings, and boots via the internet (via a combination of eBay and clearance specials). I live in Bedford and work in Westborough. Anybody know of a shop reasonably closeby that won't charge an arm and a leg to mount the bindings, but will do a decent job? Thanks!
