Agree with snowmonster that these are the best choices if proximity to Boston is the main driver. The problem for all of them with the exception of Sunapee is that you'll ski all the terrain within a couple of hours (or even an hour depending on how hard you ski). Wachusett does have $10 off...
Started at the age of 13, skied frequently through high school and college (at least when I had funds in college). Took 6 years off due to kids and work. Finally took my daughter skiing for her first time when she was 6. For the past 3 years (I'm 35), actively skiing with the kids.

I've assembled skis, bindings, and boots via the internet (via a combination of eBay and clearance specials). I live in Bedford and work in Westborough. Anybody know of a shop reasonably closeby that won't charge an arm and a leg to mount the bindings, but will do a decent job?
