Wow, Soli closing on the 19th caught me by surprise. Been skiing only Bird for a couple weeks and then Canada before that, but I have $60 in mtn credits. I guess I have to get up there and blow it by tomorrow on some clothes or pizza??

Solitude's going to be open April 24, 25, and 26 (conditions depending), but given there's snow coming this week it seems a safe bet.

I had $60 in mountain money from a promotion Alterra ran this season, so I went up to Solitude today to ensure I was able to cash it in. Got a nice sweater for $16 after the discount. The cashier said tomorrow is Solitude's last day. They decided against opening next weekend.

Not surprising for me. They don’t get as much snow and have been limping along for a while now. As I said, Alterra is paying Brighton $100 a day per IKON pass. So it was in their interest to keep one place open to stop the bleeding.

Thought they had announced last weekend they were done. If they got snow and decided to extend, definitely not a sucks moment.
