Very strange. I felt this way last year too. In 5 or so short month we will begin the epic 2007-08 ski season! Remember how good 2006-07 was starting shortly after MLK Day? Well, 2007-08 is going to follow that trend starting early-mid November straight through April 2008. Bring it on!

Hope you are right!

Dude, relax. Enjoy the Spring and nice weather. I am not feeling it at all and am happy to say my season is done. Time to not think about skiing for a while and I'm good with that. Very satisfied with this past season.

Excuse me... this season is not over! I'm going to ski the last remaining patch on Riemergasse at Mt. Ellen tomorrow! I'm going to ski that 20 or 30 feet of snow until it turns into 2 or 3 muddy bumps!

I'll take pictures :D

That's pretty much where I am right now, except that I wouldn't say that I'm happy to say my season is done. ;) I did have a very fulfilling season though. I guess I know that stressing about the warm weather won't change anything so I may as well enjoy it as best I can... At least for a few months before I start obsessing again.

There is really good early season skiing in South America, Australia and New Zealand with some record cold weather. Hopefully this comes our way this winter.

Dude, I'm totally relaxed. And I'm enjoying the warmer weather. Not all that bummed out really. Still doesn't mean that I'm not looking forward to next season...

It's kind of hard to miss winter and think about skiing next season when it's only 53F outside in mid-June. Boy is it cold outside for this time of year, we keep going from way too hot to way too cool.

Bring it on, indeed! Received a call from my brother yesterday afternoon. He's moving to Maine and has purchased a home on property located midway between Saddleback and Sugarloaf. Free lodging for me!

....time to be thinking Pre-Season !

The key phrase could be.... "Pre-Season" Greg! Time to "get ready" for skiing... Although you/your_family should take some time and spend a few outtabounds(up here in Maine).....and escape government(s) for a while, if not its foreign policy = gas prices. The "getting away" part is a nice feeling.....we can't escape Washington's ability to mismanage the planet yet.

Considering that my boat broke down again and the wife isn't too crazy about the sailboat....I'm ready for winter!

Okay, well, is it time yet for threads like this now?
