I think it takes a little Dicken's to sum up the week that the marketing dept at K has had "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times"

nice job out the Killington management team

hype the hell out of yourself and then become an abject failure on delivering anything besides the same old crap you've been pulling for the last few seasons.

Personally, I find this extremely annoying. I would rather go hike a patch on Killington than ski a WROD at Sunday River....but not if I'm going to get my pass pulled before I get it.

and how are they going to pull your pass if you don't have it?

And the people skiing at SR would also prefer you do that. Thanks!

Yea. I suspect you've never hiked up a mountain in your life.

That's kinda silly... what they have blown snow on at K so far sucks in comparison to even 500 vert of T2 at SR.

Or even the 1500 they are now offering at SR, although the 500 of T2 was much better than Sunday Punch.

You mean 600 vert of steeper stuff, for 3+ runs? Probably Cascade by this point too?

Great Northern and Rime are not steep, and Cascade is top to bottom or nothing. There's nothing really special about Killington's early season terrain. I think it just gets more attention vs. Sunday River because K is much more accessible from CT and NY and there's a pretty good sampling of vocal regulars and locals posting on this board.
