Sugarbush Resort Word from Mountain Ops. was that there was very fine snowflakes falling about half way up the mountain. A good omen for another good season!

Not that this has ANY bearing on the coming winter, but it's nice to hear.

Sat down to a staff meeting and the first thing I said was "summer's over." Not declaring the season itself over but the day's of long lunches, Fridays off and extendable deadlines are over. The T is starting to get full and students are making their way back to Boston.

The time to switch sports is getting closer...

This morning out in Acton was nice and cool... As someone mentioned, yes the T is getting full again (although this summer we had higher than usual ridership). I cannot wait to get out to Sunday River for the first run of the year!

Agreed. Very cool here this morning and the leaves have started to turn. (not all but enough to get me excited!) Mix all of this with the latest Ski Magazine Gear Guide and the start of school and you have the makings for one excited dude.

Real nice to do that...

I noticed that my grass is turning greener again...unfortunately it means that I'll have to mow more than once every 2 weeks. Just about time to do some overseeding.

I also canned the AC this week and had to cut my grass. I can't complain though, I am pretty sure that is the first time I cut the grass since mid July.
