Who's down, up to 250 people is $2500 for the day, would be pretty cheap if we got enough people. Anybody have any dates? LINK.

I have to imagine getting 50 people together to have the entire mountain to ourselves is totally possible. That would be $50 each. Count me in.

Even more people would be even cheaper, and wouldn't be crowded, but not sure how many people would be able to make one specific day.

You have to book in advance so I guess it would make sense to pick a date now for later in the season to allow people to change their schedules?

I think a bigger question is what exactly is the process here? Do they require a single $2,500 transaction? I would imagine that is the case. I'm not sure if anyone would want to take that on. I definitely don't feel comfortable handling that amount of money from this many people.

I'm not exactly sure, I just read it on the site. I work there, but I'm just an instructor so I don't know anything about it. The guy who said he knows Lazlo (the owner) would know better than I would...

If we let you handle the funds you will be stocked in vodka and putting in new retaining walls all over your estate.

Exactly. ;)

Seriously, not at all interested in taking that on...

BTW, I didn't mean to totally suck the life out of this thread. Just trying to think ahead regarding some of the logistics.

Everyone could just send the money to me, I'll setup a PO Box later.

The link he posted does cover that. If you scroll down to "How do I book my trip?"

Plattekill does not apply day-of-arrival, on-site group discounts. Visa, Mastercard, Discover or corporate checks accepted. Sorry, no personal checks. All money is due on arrival with 1 payment, no invoices for future payments will be issued.

And if you click on the "Groups Reservation Form"

The group may pay by cash, corporate check or credit card (Visa, Mastercard or Discover) on the group arrival date. Multiple-day programs will be required to pay for all services/rentals up front upon arrival.

That does sound like a lot of fun.My schedule is pretty flexible and I have plenty of vac days. I'd be willing to commit to a date. I've never been there, does anyone know how far it is from Port Jervis? If it's close I could crash at my brothers house.

A Thursday would be the best day for conditions. All of the snow flurries and couple of inches here and there add up over the mid week when they are closed. There would almost defiantly be first tracks every run.
