Need some details soon. Trying to book trips for Feb/March, would like to work around the summit, but need some dates already! Even if you don't have the whole package nailed down at least let us know what weekend it's happening.

Looks like the dates were announced on October 25th last year... Hopefully we get some information soon!

Sorry guys I do have some tentative dates lined up, it's in the March / April timeframe... I'll see if I can wrap up some more on this in the next week or two.

I was thinking the same thing -- but thought it would be a bit early to ask the question :)

Based on prior years, I'm wild guessing weekends of March 23rd or 30th and not planning to book anything those weekends until I hear officially when AZ summit is going to happen! :)

It will be during Snoedown weekend, mark it.

It has the past two years, so I've had to miss Snoedown. So, keep an eye on moe's website.

I think Sugarloaf is the better set up; slopes and apres venues all within easy walking distance of the accommodations. Arrive, park and forget about your car for the weekend.

Yes, but the 'loaf is a hike for most people. Just sayin'... (my vote isn't for K though. what about in the MRV?).

I think the plan was to have it in different locations at first, but Sugarloaf sweetened the deal the second time. Make a week of it and hit up Sunday River and Saddleback before heading to the Loaf, or hell, take a tour across NE and hit Stow, Jay, Cannon, Burke, Wildcat, etc. before you get to Maine ...

Didn't you mention you were thinking of planning some other AZ get togethers?

I might, it will be more informal though. I'll see if i can work out some pass deals or something... can't promise anything though. Sugarloaf has always been very generous with us :)

I'm open for some other stuff though too. Let me see what I can wrangle together :snow:

Nick, just speaking for myself, while discounts and freebies are appreciated, they are not a deal breaker. In the past, we would just pick a mountain, a date and a meeting spot and time and showed up. I think it's great to ski with other AZers even before the AZ Summit.

Absolutely agree, even if it's just a meet up

The Loaf deal last year was unreal. The first year was really good but last year was a jaw dropper. Unbelievable value. I already had vouchers up the ying yang so I only day tripped it (and was glad I did, I ate so many vouchers last year). I think it would be great to spread the love around and explore more areas for the Summit. But if they keep throwing AZ deals like that, I can see keeping it at the Loaf. I probably won't attend if it is at the Loaf. I have some pretty concrete plans this season that don't involved the Loaf even if it is a good deal.
