Happy New Year!

The snow was deep and soft today. I liked it! Almost everything was open, but there was grass coming through on some just-opened runs like Belleayre Run and Utsayantha. There were a couple of lift lines, but no more than a minute. If you missed today, you REALLY missed a genuine eastern powder day!

Once the snow got cruddy, the skiing was difficult for some people. Grooming should smooth out things out for tomorrow, but there is more snow on the way!

Thanks for this. A buddy is dragging me out there on the 7th (his birthday... sadly not mine) and it's good to see they got a lot of snow.
