I'm planning a hike this summer (previously posted a request for info) on the AT from rt. 4 (below) Saddleback to the s. branch of the carrabassett river - the old logging road off of rt 27. I'm working on a couple of options for getting my car close to the trail head but wondering if anyone has other suggestions - bulletin boards, local general stores.
