Carpenter bees

Anybody have these things around there house? They are starting to eat small holes in the ceadar shingles of my house. :angry:

Carpenter bees are nasty pests. Get a big can of bee spray or call the exterminator before they eat up your house. They can do a lot of damage, and there will be lots more of them soon since it's early in the season. You want to get rid of them now. A neighbor of mine had a really bad time with them a few years back......

Yeah they are nasty little buggers. You'll definately want an exterminator, regular can spray wont get rid of them, it will KILL them but they will only come back, the exterminator will put a chemical on them that should prevent them from returning...

If you're feeling particularly malicious, when they go up in their little hole, cover it with wood putty. Serves as a warning to the rest of them.

Yeah, I've had to deal with them before.
