Firefox 3

what makes it better than the current Mozzila?
Memory enhancements and tweaking of the speed are the major pluses from my perspective. Some new features but the memory issue is a big winner. Haven't D/L'd quite yet as I like to wait for the add-ons to catch up and be put through thorough testing before I upgrade.

Does it take less than 15 minutes to start up? If so, that's a major improvement over the current version.

You might have other problems if it takes you 15 mins to start.

SAC tracker plug-in doesn't work with FF3.

Sounds like you need a new computer. ;)

I just shut down and restarted the browser (FF2 on Kubuntu Linux with only 512 memory). 10 seconds from nothing to eight tabs fully loaded to their previous spots per session manager. About as fast as can be expected for a three year old computer with tons of add-ons and more than half a dozen tabs open.

It still has bouts of crashing on me but the restore session is helpful when it does. I love the stock ticker so I don't have to keep changing tabs to see how much of my money has gone down the tubes.
