Downloaded and installed the osx version. I like the new look. Have yet to check out most of the new features.

is that big of a difference? I really didn't read too much about it. I'm a pretty basic browser guy anyway...not too many add-ons etc. just don't want it to be stable, fast and safe as far as malware, pop-ups etc.

Memory enhancements and tweaking of the speed are the major pluses from my perspective. Some new features but the memory issue is a big winner. Haven't D/L'd quite yet as I like to wait for the add-ons to catch up and be put through thorough testing before I upgrade.

You might have other problems if it takes you 15 mins to start.

Nor does eMusic plug-in....I'm told they're "working on it"....

Current only takes a bout 1 sec. at most..............

Sounds like you need a new computer.

I just shut down and restarted the browser (FF2 on Kubuntu Linux with only 512 memory). 10 seconds from nothing to eight tabs fully loaded to their previous spots per session manager. About as fast as can be expected for a three year old computer with tons of add-ons and more than half a dozen tabs open.

It still has bouts of crashing on me but the restore session is helpful when it does. I love the stock ticker so I don't have to keep changing tabs to see how much of my money has gone down the tubes. :lol:

I used to get so many pop-ups when using IE. Firefox block up is great.
